from what I understand the "valve" sounds on the intake is pure sex. 8 intake valves all going "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhh, WHOOOOOOOOOoooossss", close, the all over again...At 7k - it must be nice.
Only down side to a really tuned s14 is it become a gutless wonder at low revs. A monster at peek rpms. (sniff sniff - do I smell a six speed gear box out of vet?) Sniff sniff?

His 2.5L has mild cams, 284/276, with AlphaN now, it will have plenty of torque down low. Not until you get 300+ cams will it start to suffer significantly down low.
As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.
