20th aniversary set in 1/43 scale. That's very pricey if you ask me. Anyone seen these in US dealers? retail or CCA discount or are they special order items?

Per the web page. Now it might be cheaper here in the US, I haven't asked my shop where I buy things so... I figure maybe $210 max, but who knows.

They could at least leave off the vert and make it 294 euro.

Yeah, for that price, they ought to be 1:18 scale. And be solid gold.

It shows the degredation of ///M? Now, they need to cater to morons who want the status of ///M but with a drop top. Yeah, whatever. The ///M's should have always stayed hardtops imo.

I don't think so. Back in the day, all serious sports cars were drop tops--look at the old Jaguars, Corvettes, and even the BMW 507. If I planned to auto x or track my car, I'd definately get the hard top. But if I wanted an M3 for everyday (which is what I'd do personally...if I had the money), I wouldn't hesitate to get the M3 convertible. Sure, it's not as stiff as the hard top, but the added experience of open driving would more than make up for that in my eyes.

If you want to point fingers, look at AMG. Their the ones catering to pansy morons. Why do all their cars come with slush boxes? And who the hell thought up the AMG minivan (R63)?!?

maybe it's 3,90 euro, meaning 3.90 euro, which would be a lot more reasonable, ~$9

                        or 39,0 euro, or ~$90

My dad got it and it was in the 450 US dollar range out here. Its a dealer piece so its got a PN. I can go look at it if you want. Yeah I wanted it too, but then when I saw it come in the mail and asked how much it was, I was like WHAT??? fuck that.

edit: I just asked my dad and he said you had tyo ask for it by PN. Here it is:

I asked that too. Throws off the whole thing. Either have all of them or have none at all. I dont get BMW sometimes. I guess cuz all the nuveau BMW owners prefer the latest cars in vert form if they can afford it.
