My 533i isn't blistering fast but I still love driving the thing. Not because of the speed, but just because it feels so solid but still nimble, and they are comfy so they pretty much absorb long drives. 5 series are the perfect blend I think, and I will definitely own an E34 or E39 in the future.
I will agree though, the eta motor in an E28 body probably won't be much fun... Maybe look into swapping an M30!'88 528e /// '88 M5 /// '89 951 /// '98 E430 /// '02 M5Comment
