    and he'll suck perminantly.

Nascar is just different racing. I'm not trying to get o/t... but circle track is way different. He's going to get his ass handed to him consistantly because he doesn't have the balls or the mentality to hang.

Yeah, we are getting slightly OT on this one! But I have to disagree on one thing-of all the guys from open wheel who are now making inroads to the money whore known as nascar, JPM is the one that I believe can actually make it. Not sure if many remember, but he very easily mastered oval racing back in CART-and won the '00 .1RL 500 making it look like a cake-walk.

Racing a 3500lb taxi cab does take a different approach than a 1200-1500lb open wheel racecar, but as soon as JPM masters the new technique, then watch out.

It's not the technique i question, i mean he is a hell of a driver... but it think that it is the "Racin is rubbin" mentality that is going to get to him... he's come from a much more "gentleman" oriented racing mentality. Maybe he'll eventually get ahold of it, but these guys all have pretty hard core mentalities about racing. my gf's dad used to race NW tour and crewed for a busch team a few times in his 20's - he loves road course racing and is plannin on running a vintage vet in a series this next year, but he said it's NOTHING like circle track. He talks about the shit that goes on out there and how it is MUCh different than someone would ever expect. anyway...
