    best books????????

ok, i have an 84 318i with the m10. i want to rebuild the entire engine, I then want to turbo it. I already own the bentley for my car, I have been told that maximum boost by corky bell is a must for turbo, now im looking for something to guide me through a rebuild and also a book that will tell me how to tune my engine for peak performance. I figured i would ask befor buying because im sure between everyone here there is not a bmw book that is unowned. also if anyone knows where i can buy lowering springs in canada could you let me know.
    thanks guys,
    Larry

Read an reread maximum boost about 4 times, before you even think about your engine build. Also go get a book on engine theory and operation, I cant remember the title now but I will get it an get back to you.

Better in opinion than Maximum boost is "Forced Induction Performance Tuning" by A. Grahm Bell. He also wrote "Four-stroke Performance Tuning" and some other good books.
