Yeah it doesn't sound like anything is being covered up, they are working to get the parts/money since apparently some shit happened. You don't want to buy stuff here? Ok, then go to ebay and deal with those stand up people.

I meant a 'cover up' of the guy's character (or lack of)... sorry to be so harsh, but I too have been burned and it sucks. As for the eBay remark, why so defensive? I would expect more from the BMW / E30 community than anyone on eBay.

I simple stated that Scott's a good guy in my book, in no way I'm am trying to cover anything up.

One's opinions of someone else based on their dealings with them does not by any means turns one into a co-conspirator.

No, I am not insinuating that anyone is conspiring agianst forum members, but I am curious why you would post that you think he is a good guy if not to exonerate his name. I have never met Scott, and I hope that if I hit hard times that I would be cut some slack, but the fact that this guy is on myspace but wont come here to clear up his business is very confusing.

This is the second thread that I've read where somebody has taken money and has refused to deliver as promised or explain for himself why he hasn't shipped the goods. Also, this is the second thread where the seller's buddies have come to the seller's defense by using terms such as 'stand-up guy', 'life happens', 'a good guy', etc - your heart is in the right place, but come on, the seller's actions completely contradict these sentiments. If the guys is honorable, he would have done the right thing months ago, and, if guy has the time to log onto his myspace account, he has the time to quell the fears of members whom have sent him money.

Why am I posting even though I have nothing at stake, you may ask? I would like to buy stuff from people on this forum, but with the recent turn of events, I am not inclined to do so.
