1987 bmw l7 part swaps?

I have a 1987 bmw l7 and a 1988 325is..

Could i swap the suspension out from the e28 into the e30?

The l7 has 230k miles on it. How much would a rebuild/swap cost and would it be worth it to rebuild/swap the engine or should i just ditch this e28?

i know the L7 has an electronicly controled suspension. I don't think that could go into your e30.

L7 is an E23, and basically none of the suspension or even brake parts will fit E24s or E28s, let alone an E30.

L7s are pretty rare, and can be really nice. It doesn't cost diddly to rebuild an M30 if you do it yourself. With 230k it MIGHT need rod bearings, but the mains are probably fine (there are seven of them!). You might need rings, and you might need to do the head. Totally worth it in my opinion. E23s are already rare, don't scrap an L7!

My teacher got one a few weeks ago and it's in our classroom right now. Must have taken atleast 5 cows to make that interior.
