    Can anyone get radio codes????

    had to jump the e36 today and dont have the radio code. Does anyone have access to a dealership network?

      if you still have the plastic bag with the owners manual etc. It will have your radio # in it on a small card. Had to unlock my dads Mroadster earlier this week because the battery came unplugged.

          Take your car down to the dealer and they can get the code for you. They have to pull the radio and look at some number on it to find the code.

            Fuck that, theyll try and charge you for the labor involved to get the radio out of the dash. Pull it out yourself and write down the serial number on the back. Bring it to the dealer and you should be fine.

              Most will not want to do that. It's coded to deter theft. You walk in with a radio and say hey please unlock this radio. They will be like yeah right.

              Now if you have the title or registration they might be more willing to work with you. It's a liability thing.

                Most people arent going to be giving you wierd looks when you come in looking for a code to a 20 year old piece of shit tape deck. At least I have never had a problem, and all three of the e30s Ive owned needed the code to get the radio working .

                  I took it to the dealership, and they didn't charge me anything. I did buy a couple things from the BMW stuff section, but they were cool with me.
