I was just over at streetfire.net looking at there videos and seen a new one, or at least i think is new? I typed in e30 in there search under the videos and it is the one that reads compilation of e30's 150 pics., looked like some of the pics. was peoples cars on here. I would put a direct link to it but could not figer how to. Not to for sure about music either.

Not bad, but the title is wrong. The E30 is the 3rd generation 3-series. The 2002 is considered the first, not the E21.

First with the kidneys and the headlights. Definately more in common with e21/e30 than a 3.0CSL.

BMW does not consider the '02 to be the first 3. E21 was the first 3.

The 1500 and the 2002 may not be considered an official part of the 3-series lineup, but they are considered the foundation and the originators of the line, and are part of the 3 Series

BMW took the successful ideas from the 2002 and based the e21 on them. Like, slim A,B,C pillars for visibility, strut front suspension, semi-trailing arm rear suspension, light, nimble, reasonably quick sporting sedans. They are based on the 2002, which was based on the 1964 1500 Neu Klasse car. We are all brothers under the skin!! It is a bit of a stretch to call it the first generation 3 series, but not by much.

In their greasy little hearts, 2002 is the first real 3 series.

In either case, the E30 is the car that really put the marque on the map in the US. In 1983, very few people knew about BMW. By 1987, everyone did.
