    Anyone runnin the 666 skidplate?

Just wondering what the impressions are on this piece. It's a little unsettling to look under the car and see the oil pan being the lowest and most exposed piece under there. I'm about to put on some IE3 springs and would rather not be so concerned over every speedbump etc.

It looks good to me- lookin for someone with first hand experience.

I have never hit anything with my pan yet... knock on wood. I drive a car with H&R race springs on it daily. I don't drive like a retard. I slow down for bumps and obstructions. The skidplate is great if you live in a large city where sometimes you can't avoid those obsicles. If you have a relatively stiff setup its not really a big deal.

I have driven my car for over a year with ie's and have never hit my pan, or even gotten close to my knowlege. After saying that i must say its a good idea to invest in one. It like getting a V1, If it saves you once, its worth it. Before i drive my my car when i finish my s50 i will have one. The pan will be lower and the s50 isnt to be messed with.

I bought mine for piece-of-mind more than anything, and I am very pleased by the quality of the piece at that price. I haven't needed it *knock on wood* but it's there in case...

Peace of Mind is right, if your running with lowered a suspension. Its advisable to invest in one since you never know what will happen..I bought one so as not to take that chance of ruining a sunny day with a busted pan!!

I'm looking into a skid plate.

I think I'm gonna go with OEM.

I've never cracked my pan, but it's got a few decent scratches

Honestly I think your ball joints and steering rack take more abuse (muffler get it the worst)
Just drive sensibly and you'll be fine
