Turbo Lag Yay or Nay? The joys of off-boost driving?

Ok anyone with a turbo I was interested to know your opinions on how much turbo lag is acceptable. I've driven cars with small turbos that let you spool and blow off in neutral and I've driven cars you needed to be nearly to 4000rpm to begin spooling.

Ohh and another question do I want a T3 or T4 exhaust housing for an M20 which will eventually get a 2.7 low comp stroke.

I was actually kind of wondering the same as the author of this topic has been.

I've never been to a forum before that gets so riled up when a repeat question is asked. Just because some don't know everything that you guys do, doesn't mean you need to be rude.

well, since he asked our opinions, I dont think any lag is acceptable, hence, why I prefer NA motors to forced induction

Its not that, but you should at least try to do a search before asking something like that wich there must be like more than 20 posts concerning this topic.

Even though I have never driven a turbo car I think it would add another element to play around with while driving making it more fun to go cruising.
