    To finish, or abandon

As of late, I have totally lost steam on the 335i project. It was close, but then my dad's euro ECU died in his daily driver (635CSi) so he jacked mine out of the E30. That's not so bad I guess, I could find another one, but for some reason, I'm just not excited about the 335i anymore. Spinning tires and big torque does sound fun, but it sounds like MORE fun in my E28 for some reason. For the 335i to be drivable:

    1:
    a) Drop the tranny, swap in motronic flywheel, and convert the whole thing to Motronic. (Ive got the parts)
    b) Buy another L-Jet ECU
2: Driveshaft - find an auto 325 front half, or spend $100 having mine shortened
3: Exhaust - no problem building it, just have to get it done

Maybe I should put it away and wait till spring? I'm pretty close to selling it to a buddy for $1700... Opinions?

That's what I would do. Park it and forget about it until the spring, and when you're ready to come back to it again, it will be there waiting for you, and you'll be all stoked about it again.

Keep it. You swapped a motor in it and you don't want it

Finish it. You have very little work left. I have to put my whole rear end back together over the winter and I am loving it. Oh ya, take the ecu back from your dad. WTF is up with him taking it? Tell him to buy you a new one.

Thanks guys, I guess sometimes a little encouragement goes a long way when a project is taking a little too long or you hit some snags. It WILL be worth it. Fuck, I need to get another job...

Yea, you need to get your car back on the road. That alone will be worth it. Finish your project, you'll have an uber e30.
