    head gasket replacement and much more!! (pics)

    Hey guys, my dad and i just finished completing the long haul of replacing the head gasket, due to buying alot of parts cough $1800 cough i have waited long enough. * almost 4-6 months* and im back on the road again... just thought i would share my happiness ;) Here are some pictures of before and after ENJOY!!!

    I don't see any difference in the pictures from before and after...but I'm guessing there wouldn't be since it was just a headgasket.

      Congratulations!

      I'm dying to know though.. for $1800, what did you buy besides the head gasket?

        everything except intake,exhaust manifolds, block, cylinder head was all left alone... every hose gasket was repalced and everything else is brand new all the parts i replaced came out to be 1800, but just the parts i bought for the head gasket and a new steering wheel was $1436.48
        heres the excel sheet if anyone is interested in seeing it....

            all i can see a difference in is the exhaust headers and the shine on the valve cover.

            But congrats on finally getting it running again.
