    F1 in June

Is anyone planning on attending the F1 race in June? If so, you should join our party. Trust me, there is nowhere on earth you will get this much food, frosty malted beverages, and BMW related fun for this little money. Trust me, I have been the Biermeister for the event since the first race, and we never kill fewer than 12 or 13 kegs in the 3 days of the race weekend.

If you have the means, I highly recommend coming.

Couple of friends and I are looking to head up there for the race. They're GM guys, but I think I can talk them into free food with the BMW boys.

I went in Sept '02, and had a blast. Indy is only a short 2 hour drive from school.

I'd love to go this summer, and maybe see some of the practice/qualifying, but unfortunately I'm relocating to Kansas for the summer.

Anyone know if its possible to get into the paddocks during practice/qualifying days? At the CART Chicago Grand Prix, I had the chance to walk around the paddocks, meet some teams, talk to some Bridgestone engineers, etc... but I've heard F1 its damn near impossible to get into the paddocks unless you're on the A-List.

My dad and I were planning on driving over there, but turns out we would have to choose between Grand Prix or Octoberfest - and, naturally, we chose Octoberfest. 8)
