    Annoying Noob questions!

Gday guys, sorry about the common (and boring) noob posting, but I figured I might as well lose my post-virginity sooner rather than later with a few quick questions:

    1) I'm currently hunting down a 2dr, 5spd 325i (E30) and after inspecting quite a few, I'm really curious regarding the options list. Is there any listing of the range of factory options available; every ad I see states "full options" but this varies a lot from car to car.
    2) Has anyone had any experience with OBX seats? How common are rails for aftermarket seats in an E30 (I know similar topics have been covered before)
    3) What do you guys this of BBS RC's (17x7.5)?
    4) Finally, I'm an Aussie: any other Aussies on this forum?

I found this site after wasting days and days on DTMpower (which utterly sucks). Some guy had a technical stroker question and the DTM response was "that sounds like a question for R3VLimited" suggesting that nobody on DTM really knows jackshit, other than how to rice out your $50k E46 and pay ppl out for having fake ACS e-brake handles...
    Props on a top site!

Yea you wont find a bit of info here.

There are some aussie guys here. They may chime in.

Ive never heard of those seats but you can find rails in a couple places.

17s may be to big to some people, I would get 16's. 17s will look nice though. BBS rocks you really cant go wrong with any of their products.

          I bombed Korea every night.

            1.
From what I could figure out when shopping around for my E30 (Dec last year), most 325is (that's the plural of 325i, not 325is singular :) ) had the following options:
            - Sunroof
            - on board computer
            - cruise control
            - cassette tape holder behind handbrake
            - Premium sound system (i think?)

I've read that sports seats, LSDs and M-tech kits were also an option for the standard 325i. They're standard on Aussie spec 325iss. i think leather was standard, as I couldn't find any with cloth seats.

In the end, I bought a manual 4 door 325i with no sunroof (which is good), no LSD and no sports seats (not so good), but with a genuine M-tech 2 kit, which is rare as hell on a four door. The car had only done 108,000km too, and had comprehensive service records. The dealer I bought it from was recently raided by federal police for involvement in an international cocaine smuggling ring, but that's another story

            2.
            Dunno about OBX seats.

            3.
All BBS rims are good by me, but i prefer deep dish wheels on the E30 (although i have 16" Alpina replicas on my car). I'd love to get some 17x8 Simmons OM17s with charcoal centres and polished rims when i save up some money 8)

            4.
            Aussies? never heard of em.

E30ownerwithanopinion, if you don't like it here, then go to BEN. Stop trying to discourage new members. There's a reason that people get teased by moderators. You of all people should know that, as did I. Then Rob helped me to realize that it's...

So the next step is to import the 'Royale with cheese' and 'Le BigMac' so you can munch on them in your Euro E30!

"Um, is it because of the metric system?"
"Woooo...checkout the big brain on BRAD!"
