I'm supposed to get a call tomorrow to setup a time to take the whole mess in to their office. I plan to be cool, and just inform them we can go to small claims court, or they can pay the claim. I'll let them know I've got plenty of time to make this a hassle, and paying out up front will be a lot easier than the court runaround I'm more than happy to provide. We'll see what happens.

I had to ship a high end video editing workstation once via fedEx ground. To qualify for insurance I was required to not only have several inches of foam, but also for it to be "double-boxed" - a box inside a box - with foam inbetween them, and then inspected before they would ship it.
After all of that, the silly fuckers still lost the package! (how do you loose a box 4'x4'x4'????)
