Which position do you play in ruby? I've played just about everything in the back-line save for inside center.

Lacrosse is for guys who think their tough.

Depends what I weigh at the start of the season, we play in weight based grades, 7th being the lightest, to open grade, the heaviest / most competitive. During the 2002 season, my last at high school, i weighed in for 4th grade, and played openside flanker, but halfway though the season we reweighed and i was over the 4th grade limit, so played halfback for the rest of the season in 3rd grade.

Orieenterring: aka, cunning running. You are given a map and compass, and on the map arfe many "stations", where you clip a card to prove you've been there, each is allocated a certain amount of points. The winner is the one who gets all the stations, in the shortest time.

Foot orienteering is an endurance sport which involves a huge mental element. There is no marked route - the orienteer must navigate with map and compass while running. The map gives detailed information on the terrain such as hills, ground surface, obstacles etc. To be successful in foot orienteering, the athlete needs excellent map reading skills, absolute concentration and the ability to make quick decisions on the best route while running at high speed.

Orienteers run over rough ground, completely unprepared forest terrain or rough open hills - cross country in the true sense of the word. Therefore, considerable body strength and agility is needed. Fitness similar to that of a 3000m steeplechase or marathon runner is required.

Mountain biking and marching band...some consider it a sport but only geeks.

Lacrosse kicks ass, I wish I'd known about it earlier in my life.

Lacrosse is fun as shit. Except when your team is a bunch of whiny bitches and pretty boys who care more about the OC than working as a team...... oh, and only winning 1 game during a season.

To say the least I'm not playing again this year, but lacrosse is kick ass. (Not only our team sucks.....but I need $$$ and work about 3 jobs now. One now being a referee for lady lacrosse. Running around with a bunch of chicks in kilts = sweet job, pays well too)

I also played some soccer in my day. Clowning on the field with friends in Rec league owns. Winning is cool, but goofing around is much more fun.

Played football (soccer in the US) most of my life, and was still playing in a foreigners league up until we had our first child. Also played golf most of my life and stopped when we had our first child.

Other sports that I enjoy are snow-skiing, snow-boarding, tennis, squash, cricket, softball (yes that's what us older gents play)..........last but not least American Football, afterall I'm from Texas originally :)

Ever since we had our son, 1 yr ago, all I do is tinker with the car....can't wait for him to start playing football (soccer), I started at 4. We are headed in the right direction since his first real word was "ball" :D

My father started playing more golf when my brother was born.

My soccer team in high school kicked ass, but all I play is intramural for now. Played just about every other sport in my backyard. Wrestled for a year too (with intentions of taking it much further) but quit when I broke my arm in a match.

If my high school offered lacrosse, I woulda been all over that.
