They're integrated into the later taillights.

Yes that knob is for adjusting the headlights, it has numbers on it like 1 2 3. 1 is for one passenger and 3 for full car and so on. because obviously more passengers = lower ride height (eg. 3 will point the headlights the highest and 1 the lowest)... Most of these things have shit themselves since they were made over 14 years ago. But i reckon it'd be cool to have it working, its a pain in my car because my lights are adjusted at what is ok for about 2 passengers, when i have a full load and on a dark road it would be great to have them working cause i cant see more that like 20-30 metres in front... but then again thats what the high beam is for

It's a self contained sealed hydraulic system which always breaks down, I have never seen a set of these working and they are quite pricey to replace. Most people ditch the whole idea but those who really want it convert to an electronic method of adjustment from a Vauxhall Cavalier.

        Hope that helps guys!
Hydraulic? It's activated by vacumm, not hidraulic!

Yan they are in both early and late tails but they wont work in US tails because its blocked off and there is no reflector.

Its another block that looks like the brakes are on, lower inside on the late model ones and next to the parking light on the early style. My tails has them but I havent wired them up.

I have noticed its a trend of german carmakers to leave these options in on US market cars. The 330 has citylights and prolly rear fogs and you often see guys in mercs driving around with them on for no reason.
