    Felt very sad yesterday

I was coming back from the scene of a recent accident that involved some girl my sister knew in school in Middleton, those of you in MA know what I mean. So I was heading back Rt114 towards North Andover when I get to this red light which stops two lanes. I am not one of those who has to speed off the light like I am in a hurry, I casually just take my time. Well this camry to the right of my blows off, no big deal, well in the mean time I am looking in the rearview at some bright HID's and realize it is a G35 Sedan. Nice car nontheless, well as I casually take off, this thing puts its directional on just to pass me like she is in some bid hurry. I see this move and proceed to drop down a gear, this thing just plain passed me like nothing. All of that just to be ahead of me at the next light :P I was so upset, feeling that my car was utterly useless. I realize that my 167hp 14 year old car would not beat the 260hp brand new G35, but at least look respectful. After seeing this happen, I realize that I will continue to save every penny I make for a damn motor swap, S50 or nothing. I am not down with street racing or anything like that, just spirited backroads, but after having this done to me, it really hurt. Have any of you guys every experience this, like that it really hurt your heart? Sorry for the long post, just wanted to vent out on this.

    Um, what were you expecting?

The G35 is 3400 pounds, with 260 hp & 270 ft/lbs of torque. That thing weighs barely more than 200 pounds over your brick of a car, and has a nearly 100+ hp and torque advantage.

The ic's weren't fast when they were new, now they're gonna get smoked by most accords and camrys.

Why were you trying to be a dick-lick and speed up when she put her blinker on anyway?

I guess I don't really understand how something like this could "hurt your heart". I mean, who cares if a car that is obviously faster than yours wants to pass? As long as they aren't driving unsafely, I don't see the problem.

When I think of my heart hurting, I think of a death in the family or a serious emotional situation. Not having a brand new 260 hp G35 pass my 15 year-old bimmer.

No charlie, the only reason I went a little quicker was because there was a merge soon and if I did not, then she would have sliced right into the right side of my car. I would never drive to endanger. Of course I knew the G35 would roast me, no doubts, but you all know that when you own a car for so long, you just get attached to it, and you hate to see it put down. On a lighter note, my mother is looking at cars in the G35 range and she has already test drove the coupe, what a fine piece of machinery. She also drove the 330CI, also a nice car, but for the difference in price, it is hard to justify it. Oreo, I have been going on DTM for a wicked long time, and I payed when they made it a fee so that doesn't bother me. I always check the NE forum, you guys are the balls though, CMT and all the rest, I simply never post because I feel that it is too late to join in, you guys seem to have a nice tight knit group and I don't want to ruin or embark in it. Maybe I will post just to let you guys know more about me, as you can see, I never post, only if I have a question or something very important.
