    Tail Light Gaskets

Looks like there are 2 different types of gaskets for tail lights:

    1. A flat spongey gasket for the old style tail lights (84-87, and later on certain models)

    And

    2. Rounded more rubbery gasket for newer style tail lights (91+ on cabs; 88+ on others)

Does anyone know if the #2 will fit on the older style? They seem alot better and more durable than the spongey gaskets.

I just replaced my tail light gaskets last week on my eta. No more leak. WOOT! The facelift cars have a different sized tailight, so they wont fit anyways...
