Whats her date of birth?

I'd like to know how a person like me can get the exact date my car was assembled. I know it was march 1990 but i'd like to know how i can find the exact date. I heard that someone in the past would look this up for people. A little help please.

When you are searching for a model you enter your vin # and all the info shows up.

for 2002's you can email this dude in germany and he gives you the date of manufacture and date of shipping but i dont know if he does it for e30's. hes with mobile tradition. email me and ill look up his email addy if youd like to try. he might laugh at and say something like "who gives a shit" though

you can always order a "birth certificate" from BMW Mobile Tradition. around $90 IIRC

Pull the rear seat cushion and back out and look for a piece of paper stapled or stuck behind springs- thats the build sheet for your car. That will give exact date and options for your car- if seats are original...

If you go to this link you'll see a foto of a build sheet- shows vin, date & hour of mfg, paint color, upholstery type & color, original equipment and options list. If you post a foto of yours I'll take a stab at decoding:
