Shortly after fill up my brother's OBC shows 19 for range and stays there. Any ideas on what's wrong? Fule gauge seems to be working; on and off I'd say. I did tighten up the contact on the back recently.
Could be a bad obc or maybe the signal is not getting to the obc to tell it the tank is full. Find out which wire controls this function and run some tests on it to see if it works.

Dude, the OBC is ALWAY right! You're car has just somehow been converted to an SUV and your full tank will only get you 19 miles now...
In reality I'd guess the wire thing, perhaps it's loose somewhere other than where you checked? I've always had luck fixing my electrical system using the gorilla method: hit it progressively harder and harder until it either works or breaks. That way you've either solved the problem or need to buy a new part, which you probably needed to do anyway but at least now you've released some pent up aggression too!:D
