Oh, master, please enlighten us on these systems on the decrepid E30. So far, I have worked on about EVERY system on this car. They have been CAKE and very EASY laid out. Lets also not forget to mention that I fucking *HATE* electrical work, yet it is a joy on the E30.

The reason you don't mention said "shop that doesn't work on BMW electrical" is that they are FUCKING PUSSIES, or IDIOT LOSER WHINERS.

It has long been known that BMW has some of the most thought out and well engineered harnesses in the automotive industry. They do a fantastic and VERY sufficient job suppling wiring harnesses and related electrical information TO A FUCKING T.

I haven't tried driving without fuse 21 in since I'd have no radio, only half the gauges working, and it's easy enough to pull back out when storing the car.

Here's what Fuse #21 has on it:

        Auto Charge Flash Light
        Ignition Warning/Seat Belt Warning
        Interior Lights
        Radio / Antenna
        Trunk Light
        Multi Function Clock
        Service Interval Indicator
        active check control
        fuel delivery

I'd go for the easy targets first. Check the glove and trunk light switches and your sound system. Pulling would involve simply disconnecting each component until the draw goes away (just like you already did with the fuses)
