Thanks Guys,
On my old set-up the wastegate was never next to the motor mount, it mounted up top you can see it in a couple of the pictures. my turbo was right on top of the motor mount. On my new set-up the T/60 turbo is to big to fit down bottom because it would hit the motor mount. Thats why i just flipped the exhaust manifold over to make it a top mounted turbo
I tried everyway to post pics nothing worked, i trust people not to erase my pics from the folderComment

You might want to change your forum password as well, since it's the same as your photo host one :roll:Comment

Good catch Tood,
Yeah the ports are off, i dremeled the bottom sides of the exhaust manifold ports to open it up more. There not off by to much now. But you got me a little concerned about the flow now that i've been thinking about it again. Maybe i should go back to what i did originally. Flip the exhaust manifold back over to the way its suppose to go, then put the adapter peice i made on it. Which was just a U-bent pipe with the flanges connected to both ends. So it would still be able to be mounted up top to give me the clearence i need. It may not look as clean with the adapter but the flow might be better.Comment

Incase anyone is curious about my set-up, or wants to know what i have here you go. heres what i got, some parts new some old.
JE 8.2:1 forged pistons
stock rods
stock crank
Garrett T/60-1 turbo
Raceware head studs
Sperco front mount intercooler core size 18x8x3
30 pound injectors (probably should have gone with 36lb)
Walbro fuel pump -hopefully TCD can help me with that
Vortech 12:1 FMU (probably get rid of it in a couple months)
Mosselman manifold
Msd 6BTM igniton box
3 heat ranges colder spark plugs
8mm wires
blaster ss coil
Aquamist water injection
deltagate wastegate
turboXS BOV
turboXS boost controller
Clutchmasters stage 2 clutch
felpro head gasket, (O-ringing was gonna cost to much)
All new bottom end, top end gaskets, new motor, and transmission mounts
new stock cam, rocker arms, valveguides
new main, and rod bearings.
Theres probably a couple things i forgot about ect...
.I've tossed around the idea of a few different fuel, and engine management set-ups. But i decided im going to go with the Haltech E6X stand alone set-up. Which means i won't need my MSD6BTM ignition anymore. After the break in period for the pistons, and rings im going to get it dyno tuned up at KTR Performance in Mass. I want to run 16 psi to get around 315-325w hp. We'll see though its tougher with are SOHC engines to make big power.Comment

I uploaded some pics of the JE pistons installed in my block onto we-todd-did-racing if you want ot take a look.Comment

The Mosselman manifold is really poor. If I had to find one thing that really hurts your spool-up time and response, that would be it. The rest of your setup is very good, but that manifold got my attention in a bad way.

I wish i could get an equal length tubular manifold. I was loooking at proturbo's, but for $900 by the time it got shipped here was a little to pricey. If i was building a crazy high horsepower power car i would definately go with one. A log manifold is still a good manifold, not the best but it will still get the job done. I used it with my last set-up, and it worked very well for what i was using it for, so i have no worries about using it with this set-up either.Comment

Hey Dusty. Good to see you here. Lookin good man. I gotta come over and check that out. Did you send your block to that machine shop in Putnam to get the pistons put in? I can make you a mandrel bent manifold adapter for the turbo if you want. Email me or something, maby we can work something out. Talk to ya soon,-BenFollow me @baysidefabrication on InstagramComment
