Considering an e28...

Manual 535i of course.



It has quite a few miles, at 257000, but engine still runs strong. Interior is basically mint black leather. Has some surfaace rust on hood, door and fender, and a few other places. Which is my main concern! Here is the site.

Think I should do it. This means I could put the 325 aside and really build it up. And daily drive this one. I am hoping I can get it for like 1500 if not less! ;)[

I came at 2:30 and everyone was f'ing leaving. I stuck around a little, but I did not see any e30's left. I was pissed. Was Pete there too?

We went to ben & Jerrie's across the town line into Framingham and the cops didn't even show. That cop was a complete idiot. Yes Pete, Jared and Brew, Ydubbs and many others were there. Was your car the red one with the black hood?

Yes it was. I was following a bunch of VW guys but they all split up. So I just went home. Damn it! I really wanted to check your car, and Ben and Jerry's! Even better! Did Will have his new M3? I would have like to see that too. And Jared's turbos. And the 4-door bronzit eta, that puts even my car to shame! And Brew just because.

Will had Mom's E46 and not the M3 due to paperwork holding him up. But there was a nice Diamondschwartz one there plus an E46 M3 an E46 330i with a supercharger and numerous other stuff. I saw you roll in the head out, I was parked right in front of you with mine on the new BBS RZ's

E28 535is are great. I don't think one with that high of mileage and rust is worth 1500 though.

My brother has his manual 85 535i for sale. Rust free, 184k, Arctic blue/pearl beige, asking $2200.

I am not expecting to pay that much. I am going to offer 1000, and if not maybe a little more. Considering all of the mods on it, it could be a steal. But a dead engine is no fun either. Rust is not bad either according to emails. So it may be a good deal for the right price.
