    Engine Swap Day Feeler

OK, so who in the general PNW would be interested in coming to my shop to do a motor swap?

This is Nigels car, a beat down '86 325e.

I have a COMPLETE harness from an '87 325is, along with a general pile of parts. Mani's, TB's, injectors...I do not have an ECU, but a 173 can not be that hard to find.

I would be buying this motor from Funkmaster (Joe Funk) who I trust to supply me with a good motah.

I will supply a fender roller for anyone interested in rolling their fenders, hot dogs, hamburgers, a fuckload of soda, potato salad, etc.

    Lets hear you thoughts.

    Luke

now that I'm inbetween contracts (read: unemployed), I got nothing better to do. Assuming the G/F doesn't have plans to iceskate, pick out a new bodywash, have me hanging curtain valances, etc. I'll be down. How soon you thinking? If I drive all the way down there UofOM3's car oughta be there. And tell mr Anderson to brave the pass.

I think we should steal Josh's car, put the "i" in it and his ETA in Nigels.

          2 swaps in 1 day!

you want my motor? I've just left it in because an empty engine bay would get me spending quicker than I could afford. If you really could use my motor, I might be convinced to pull it. I certainly wouldn't charge you much for it but it is a runnning e engine. No guarantees on it's ability to last. I suppose I could run a compression test on it if you're interested. I'm really not sure what tidbits I'd want to keep. Ideally I'd like to put a s50 in there, and probably wouldn't reuse many parts, but the idea of a turbo i motor has been kicked around quite a bit at the local pub.

Long rambling post aside, if you want my motor, I'd be willing to pull it for you for a reasonable price. PM me.
