What if the car is stripped out and lightweight, then can it wear a lightweight flag? I see where some of your are coming from, but it's not like the lightweight flag or the ///M tri color are sacred things that are only reserved for certain BMWs. CSi and CSL designated cars are much more exclusive than ///M cars now... It would piss me off to see someone badge a 318is as a 318CSi more than it would piss me off to see it sporting a lightweight flag! If it's a BMW and it's faster than stock, I think it deserves to wear anything that relates to the efforts of the M Tech division, aside from something silly like badging it as an actual M car (E34 525i badged as an M5 for example). Does anyone remember when there were non "S" motored M cars? The M535i had an M30, but it wore an ///M badge, and the special body pieces it had were available from the dealer, and some were optional on non M535i's.I'm just saying. An M interior doesn't deem the car worthy of an ltw flag.'88 528e /// '88 M5 /// '89 951 /// '98 E430 /// '02 M5Comment
