It doesnt' look to different too me. You have a few other pieces on the car but why don't you get a bumper and the rest of the gril to make it actually look like you didn't just come from the junkyard. Good luck if you get in a crash.

I have all the parts in my backyard, but the damage wont let the pieces go back on too well. i can put the metal bumper back on, but the passenger side wont secure right, so it rattles like a bitch.

The damage? Did the frame twist?

nah, but the front frame that attachs to the metal bumper got pushed in a good three inches, and i dont have the means to pull it out.

where the headlight is located it is also pushed back a good two inches now, so the grill wont attach at the right angle.

i am going to grab the front clip from an 88 e30 and put it onto my 325es after i purchase another e30 as a daily driver. so it will just be time.

Seriously man, you think it is worth it? The little problem that you had in the thread seems it should be the least of your worry. Good luck though

i seriously do. i think it might have to be my serious addiction to bmw's but i would rather put an e30 back to life, rather than dump it into a junkyard and have it rot for years to come. and the money is no big deal. seriously. i am 18 and i make more than my father and have no bills. well not yet at least. moving out this summer. plus i just got a 2 dolalr raise each hour, so i feel pretty good.

If you were smart, you'd stop dumping money into that heap, buy a reliable daily, and start saving a little bit of your money for when you move out.

I get a kick out of all these kids with the mentality of "oh, I don't have any bills right now, and I'm moving out soon, but I make a ton of money right now". Yeah, you think you make a ton of money right now because you don't have to do anything with it. Wait until the first month when you've paid your deposit along with your first and last month's rent, and all your new bills for that month show up, along with having to buy food and do all your own laundry.

man you really do underestimate some people, dont you? thats ok, because i know as a person that i have made the right decisions and i have saved money. and i have. i currently have an ING account with an 8.1% interest rate, and i can withdraw the money at anytime without suffering a penalty. i have been saving in that account since one month after i turned 16. and currently 45% of my paycheck is being added to that every two weeks. there is enough money in that account to put 17% down on a 200,000 dollar house and still have 6 grand left over. so i cant see how i will suffer from anything, especially since i will have a roommate who works with me, though he makes a little less. but i think i am set, and the total that i have spent on that 325es is around 810 bucks, with 2 months of insurance. so it really isnt a waste of money, especially since that isnt that great of an amount.

but thanks for warning me, my family has done the same thing. they are just trying to show me the way, and what might happen. if i mess up. but believe me, i have it all under control.

Seriously man, take our advice. You are pissing your money away on a beat to shit e30. Theres nothing wrong with restoring a car to its former glory, but honestly that car is not worth it. If the frame is fucked up enough that you cant run a front bumper, get rid of it and find a straight car to fix up. THere are plenty of etas out there that you can get for under a grand that are worlds better than your car will ever be.

i will heed your advice, but i will not take it. i do have plans for the car, but they are off in the future. and i do plan on getting another straight, more expensive e30, but i want to get rid of my 2002 SE-R first. my parents wont let me keep three cars at my house, they got pissed when i have two. and when i got the SE-R i was younger than 18 so my father cosigned the loan, and when i paid it off they mailed me the title and my dad has yet to get it signed and notarized......

You know what really grinds my gears? This Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay Lohan with all those little outfits, jumping around there on stage, half-naked with your little outfits. Ya know? You're a... You're out there jumping around and I'm just sitting here with my beer. So, what am I supposed to do? What you want? You know, are we gonna go out? Is that what you're trying to - why why are you leaping around there, throwing those things all up in my, over there in my face? What do you want, Lindsay? Tell me what you want? Well, I'll tell you what you want, you want nothing. You want nothing. All right? Because we all know that no woman anywhere wants to have sex with anyone, and to titillate us with any thoughts otherwise is - is just bogus.

yeah, the prices of houses just keep going up.

but since my boss is paying for my college i dont have to worry too much about student loans and such. so i can focus solely on my house and setting up my 401k and such.
