very interesting, I wonder what size wheels are required, as Z06s come with 18's dont they?
damn, i'd rather spend 2k on a high quality front kit with non-floating calipers
I'veseen those on there before. What does "floating" caliper mean? Is that where the piston presses on one side and just uses the other side of the caliper to sqeeze the pads instead of an opposite piston?
Looks ghetto in my opinion with the 5 lug rotor redrilled for 4 lug.

For 2k, i want multipiston calipers and floating rotors.
Front AND rear?
Eh thats true. These cars are light enough that you have to be pretty fucking serious to need a rear upgrade though. I'd still rather have super nice fronts and stock rears than so so all around. Bigger is not always better.

True, and in reality, the stock brake rotors and calipers are fine. Bigger rotors aren't going to help you stop any quicker, only disipate heat better. You'd have to be running some serious laps on the track to get an real benefit from them.
...Although they would look sweet, my 18s make the stock brakes look tiny. :)

I disagree. With my M roady brakes on all 4 corners, this car stops shorter then it ever did. :D

I wonder hoe much will cost a used pair of those Z06 calipers in ebay...anyways I will save to buy the WIlwood calipers and see the form to make the caliper holder...too much money for those BBK IMO

It may require less pedal force, but the only thing that is really going to make you stop faster is stickier tires. :? You can lock up stock brakes just as quickly.
I do hate how much pedal force is required on the E30 though on the street...compared to newer cars.
Not worth the money!
1st HEAVY calipers, basically a oversized stock caliper.
2. Where can you get rotors? These are custom.
3. For $2k you can get some nice light weight 4-pot calipers.
4. Look at the adapter, it SUCKS! That thing looks like mild steel, way to much flex!
There are so many other BBk out there, that work! It's a good idea, but not for that price. I would rather spend an extra $1000 and get a quality f/r kit.
It is to my understanding the IE's kit used this type of setup from the Z06 but people did not recommend them for some reason. I don't know the reason behind them but this is what I've heard.
Also the price is somewhat high, more expensive than a Brembo kit for an E30 M3.....
