      On my 73 Nova, which was nowhere near stock, wore a real 1973 dealer plate that I picked up at a swap meet, that was registered to the car. In Mich, it's called a "Authentic" plate. Paid $35, had insurance, and got the plate regestered to the car. The best part? It never expires. I did that with another 67 Nova. Nice deal. I never got hassled either cuz I drove em almost daily at times.

      *Edit* I'm pretty sure it was a 25 year deal, regardless of what plates you run: Authentic, historic, antique.

        Not in CT. The antique plates are white with black lettering and a picture of a fucking model T in the middle...totally lame on anything that is newer than early muscle.
