    Interesting local For Sale

    SR20DET e30.

it actually looks kinda cool, slammed on the 'caps like that, pretty sleeper....a bit overpriced tho methinks.

the sr20det would be the only non-bmw motor i would ever consider for a swap...even then, i dont know if i could do it.

It'd be better if it was the black top motor, but otherwise it's pretty neat.

Looks great, and I'm sure it's fast as hell, but damn that's a lot of cash!

Way too much in my opinion.

      That's a great engine, though.

That's australian dollars though, so it's closer to about ~7500 USD.

just been considering this....my friend had a Nissan Bluebird TRX with a stock SR20DET, which ran just under a 13.0 with an open diff and 205/50/15...the TRX weighs just under what a early e30 318i does. so hitting the mid 13s in something like this would be easy.....with a slightly massaged sr20 and some wider rear tyres, youd have a fucken quick e30. sr20dets can be had for pretty cheap over here....even cheaper with some of the guys i kno.....hmm, could be an interesting project one day.
