If you could that would be sick. I wont be able to get to a Barnes and Nobles for months. Going to college 150 miles from any major population center makes it tough to get anything BMW related.Leave a comment:

I just went out and bought it on my way home from work, it's a great article with lots of good pics.
I can go to Andrew's house tomorrow and scan it, if anyone is interested.Leave a comment:

I also enjoyed seeing the E30 appreciated in a large circulation mag as well.

Personally, I think the 190Es have dated dashboards, but the W124 E classes have a more contemporary dash than the E30. All the other BMWs from the 80's (except the E32) have dated-looking dashes.Leave a comment:

theres a thread/arguement about mid '80's BMW vs MB interiors in General Discussion somewhere I think...Yeah i read that the other day. Pretty decent article about how the owners feel about their cars, etc. Definately worth the read. There is also another E30 buyers guide in one of the other BMW magazines that's currently out. I agree with ur comment about the interiors but 190 guys would argue that E30 interiors look dated and how theirs looks more contemporary, stylish and better quality.Leave a comment:

E30 M3 in Latest Automobile Mag
I got the latest copy of Automobile Magazine this month, and was really surprised to see a head-to-head of the E30 M3 and the Mercedes 190E 2.3. It's an article about what the writers have in their own garage, and it was pretty sweet. It also had a sidebar of their racing histories. I thought it was great because it talked about how, even though the cars are down on power and features compared to today's, they have infinately more soul than BMW's M and Mercedes' AMG current cars have.
As a side note, I am also always surprised how contemporary the E30's dashboard is--the MB's looks old, but the E30's doesn't look like it was designed in 1983.
I tried to find the article on their website, but it's not there. Anybody else seen it?Tags: None
