Even if you could fit 4 golf bags in the trunk, could you fit four male adults in the cabin?

I have fit 5 in mine...VERY uncomfortable for the passengers...I rode in a 325es once in the back with 3 people (not fun). Even 3 people in an accord is tight. We had 4 in one the other night...

I'm sure the car hated you for it. If I carry 5 people it feels like the car is going to die. And then they all get out and its just me and I feel all that power come back to me.

I've climbed in the back of my trunk before. Its probably got room for 2 of me. Bavarian midgets on the other hand...

try getting you and 3 big local braddas, 2 of em well into the 300 lb. range, and 1 deep in the 400's.

You can usually get three regular size bags in the e30 trunk without to much hassle. Four works with a bugee to hold the trunk closed. Roof racks will work.

If it is the same 3 buddies, tell them they can either put their smaller lifgtweight bag designed for walking in your trunk or they can hold their larger bag in their lap.
The convertible top storage area is perfect for the fourth bag (or a couple of dead babies or whatever it is that you are not allowed to bring in or take out).
