    More noob questions...

I bought a 90 325i today - and it needs a few things. First of all, are the power windows and sunfoor on the same fuse and relay? The po said they all went out at once. I'm thinking it's an easy fix. Also, it has a airbag - the the steering wheel is crap. Is it unwise to put an IS steering wheel on it? Is the spline the same? I hate the look of the airbag wheel anyways. In addition, whats the best place to get a trunk lip and door seals?

    TIA

For the seals, look at pelican parts or bma. should be able to put a non-airbag wheel on an airbag car, might want to run a search on that. As for the fuse, I don't know off the top of my head, but I'm sure it's covered in the bentley -- best 30$ you'll spend on the car.

Give our shop a call, I'm pretty sure we have a couple of iS wheels lying around.

        Thanks!

            Yes a non-airbag wheel will work .

You will have to install a spacer under the securing nut , between the nut and the wheel , for it to tighten down correctly .

The wheel will also sit a bit closer to the stalks but you will get used to it .

Thanks. Is it hard to take the airbag wheel off?
I'm used to 2002 wheels - as easy as it can get...

Just have to take the center pad/airbag off from behind and remember to unplug the airbag by going through the rectangular panel underneath the column .

Then it just unbolts like your '02 wheel .

Did you ever source all of those parts that you were looking for ?
If not I have everything up here in Dallas and you are welcome to check it all out .

Tha only things i have actually purchased are the seals and the circuit breaker. I still need a black lip, wheels, steering wheel, a new rear bumper, and the seat belt catch. LEt me know what you have. Do you have any photos of any of it?

                  Thanks,

                  Patrick

RE: the windows. There is a window lock button in the dashboard. Make sure that it is unlocked, and that both wires are plugged into the back.
