I paid $800 (a pretty good bargain). I also put in a $500 black cloth headliner  .

Who, where and why so cheap? But great for you I'd pay $800 and be happy for a good straight unit.

IC Hardtops....I have 3, all need some work

Ranging in Price from $100 to $350.....like I said all 3 need some work....
Headliners, new front seal etc..I also have the last 5 sets (now NLA) of the chassis retrofit kits I am trying to sell, this is the parts that mount in the chassis near the hinges of the soft top, all pre87 need these and some post 87 do....these are $125 each, New in the bag, they would cost you, if you could get them at the dealer..$148....
I will post pics later today...

Please do post pics. Are you the same fellow that has an ongoing ad in Roadfly? Will you ship?

O my these things have hard tops....I just acquired an 88 325ic a couple of weeks ago. The top is in ok shape, but I am not a fan of the plastic in the back. Tell me about these hardtops. Do they retract or is it like a Jeep Hard top where you have to take the whole damn thing off? Is it easy to do? Do tell me about this guys I am now HIGHLY interested. Thanks. 8)

you pull the entire things off, there are 2 posts it slides into in the back and at the front it uses the same mount that hold the soft-top,

And the back is actually made of glass and not plastic, right? Is the upgrade worth doing? Aaron's top looks awesome I love that. I have a tan top wouldn't mind black or tan though.

The window is glass with a integrated window defroster that runs through it. It works with the same button as the blower.

The metal posts that slide in the back make the contact to complete the circut. No plugs.
