More onto the episode, there was a serious lack of material in this premiere, but I figure they were so focused on Hammond's accident that they filled up most of their airtime with it.

The little material they presented was great though.... clearly they will still carry on with the same attitude and no changes or any "slowing down" for that matter.

Agreed, Wasn't one of the best shows they have done, but I think they were struggling to have features that didn't overshadow Hammonds return.

The crash footage was amazing! The speed it all happened was really shocking.

All in all, They handled it well, keeping it light hearted but showing that it can all go wrong in the blink of an eye.

Clarkson's comment "I could have help that" Made me lol so hard! :D

I have lobbied BBC America to start carrying it again but they could careless so we use the blogs and rapidshare sites.

They aired them for a long time on Disco - but dropped it. When I emailed them and asked them why....they said they are coming out with a US version.
I emailed them back to ask them why would they cancel a show such as top gear, and try to make a knockoff of it that will be US spec? It would have nothing to do with why I orignally liked top gear in the first place...The hosts were great, and the series was great. I cannot wait to see the crap they try to pawn off. :roll:

I know they used to air BS reruns of the UK version of TG on Discovery... I only have basic cable where I live, maybe its on digital or satelite.

I saw the episode last night and at the end Richard went in depth about the accident as well as footage. In car as well of the roll over!!!. =Horrific.

There was a YouTube vid posted but the BBC already made sure it was removed.
