    Bilstein USA...

If you are looking for any of the small pieces for your installation, the California office has proven (for me at least) to be 99% worthless. Call the NC office, they rule!!

Just thought I'd throw that out there because the CA office tried to tell me they didn't have any spring perches and that I'd have to buy a new pair of rear shocks for my E28, but when I called the NC office she found 11 in stock out in CA and ordered 2 of em for me for like $7.50 each. Southern hospitality FTW!

I had a set of shocks revalved at the California facility and found the customer service to be just fine.

Well notice, I said small pieces for your installation. I'm not suprised that they took care of your revalve with no problems, but when it came to selling me the spring perches, they told me they didn't even have any and that I would have to buy a pair of shocks!

I had a set rebuilt at the CA place because evidently they dont do that on the east coast. I sent them there and asked them to call me before charging my credit card. They never called me. I tried calling them on numerous occasions and nobody ever knew where my shocks were or what spot in the rebuild process they really were. I wasnt too happy then. Although last week I faxed them a request for a receipt of that transaction (almost a year ago when I rebuilt them) and they got back to me within 5 hours or so and I got a receipt which I was impressed with. Hit and miss I guess.

Strange. Must be a hit -n- miss setup. I bought all new little stuff from them to install a used set of sports - all the hardware, shock boots, and the collar for the front inserts. I got the right stuff, and all of it came within 2 weeks of ordering. I had no problems at all. They even tossed in the tool for tightening the front collars correctly for free.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.
