The sport seats put you down alot lower and tilted more back. The normal seats are very flat and upright. It feels strange going between the two. I love the normal seats for long drives. Mine are pretty plush.

Yeah those E39 M5 move at any RMP.

My Father owns a mint 03 M5 and an 88 M5. I actually prefer the rawness of the E28 over the 03. However on a long haul the E39 would deffinetly cruise along alot better.

    Cheers!

The e39 M5 was great... I mean I didnt bother to notice the spaciousness because quite frankly I had more important things grabbing my attention at the time, but I cannot recall having a thought of anything in the car saying "oh... this bothers me"

I'm 6'-4", there is more head room in the E30 then the E39 ;) The other strange thing I had to get used to is the change in visibility, the windshield doesnt' come up as far and the pillars are much larger. I have no issues with the E30s visibility.

and yes, LMB is the way go for the M5!

Sounds like you had a great time. The closest I've gotten to that is a friend of mine that used to own an Imola E46 M3 cabby took me out for a ride in it one day, and about 20 miles out of town, pulled over to the side of the road and said, "you wanna drive?".

    :D
And you said, NO of course :p

    hahahahaha.

And I have to admit, e34 and up, the 5'er are pimp.

A "real" car you actually ask the valet to keep up front and he will (if they look anything like the above)

Yes - they look good in blue :)

Although I must admit that if I was looking for an M5 today I´d
get a white one - they look awesome.

yeah we bought one right after the Dinan ZHP, thats the one we really wanted. We bought the new one before he had put it on his site. We almost bought the steel grey S54 M Coupe with TC Kline C/O's and euro 6 speed.

Oh. Nevermind. They must have sold two red 330i ZHP's within the span of a few weeks, both to LA residents.

I have known Dan for years, so when I decided to buy an M5 I asked him to keep an eye out for me. A few months later, voila...
