    1985 325es?????

Ok, my new E30 is a 1985eS and it has every option that a 325eS has... OBC, pwr sunroof, sport interior, front lip, trunk spoiler, etc etc.... But I thought the eS was only made in 1986-1987?! Is mine just a good copy?

Get the VIN# and take a look for yourself :) The sticker on your driver's side door should also say what it is.

A fully loaded 1985 325e 2-door will have roughly the same equipment as an 86-87 325es, except for the front and rear spoilers and the M-Technic I steering wheel (which all could be added later). If yours really is an 85, then it will have squarish sidemarkers, but if it's an 86-87 then it will have rectangular sidemarkers. There are other subtle differences as well (sun visor clips, position of rear center seat buckle, airbox design, silencers on the fuel lines, etc) but the sidemarkers are the easiest giveaway.

Ya, it has the ugly sidemarkers and wierd airbox, they are both different than the things on my 86 325.

So it's just a loaded 325e with eS badging pretty much?
