This car is definetly an E30 325i Cabrio US-spec. Before 1991, the only US E30 cabrio had to be a 325i. That was it. This is a `88-`89 325i Cabrio.

Looks like an 87, as I don't see any Ellipsoids, which I believe came only on 88 and 89's.
