and its boring as hell. I love the technolgy...but its still dull...can't over take because of the dirty air behind.

Superbikes and grandprix bikes are far better to watch imo.

I agree that those are good events. I went to two super bike events at Suzuka in Japan when I was living there. I rode down from Misawa on my TZR 500. A long buzzy ride.

      What was going their minds?

          doh hehe

didn't realise f1 was popular in the US. thought it ws cart and nascar.

I like watching the rallying on tv too...hurtling down stuping thin roads at 100mph!

Anyone care to tell me what happened with Montoya? Why did he place 13th?

I'm just trying to imagine what happened with that posted pic there.

He was up in 3rd place till about 10 laps left in the race. 6th and 7th gears in his car went boom. Then more and more kept dying. Eventually he made it till the end but with only a few gears left.

yeah first 7th gear went, and after a few more laps he had to finish the race using just 4th gear

remember I lived in Japan, way up north near Hirosaki, Northern Honshu. Many 2 stoke street bikes were never allowed into our country due to emission reasons. The old Kenny Roberts Special RZ350 was a predessor of this bike.

There were many variants of the TZR's. Mine was a V4 there was another small Yamaha that was a inline 4 and that was the FZR400.

yes standard time is 7am in USA for most races. Replays are at 9 pm this year not 1 pm as some past years. It is hard not to accidently run across the results before 9pm.

and for the comment about not being interesting in the USA the F! 3 years ago was the 3rd largest sporting event in world history. Right behind two other USA races.
