E28 needs paint... Help me choose!

Alright, my 5er needs some paint. I've read every scrap on the roll-on-rustoleum paint job I can find, and I'm gonna do it. I know I won't be able to get something thats a 100% match, so I will be taking as much of the body and trim apart as possible to get paint on EVERY visible area minus the engine bay (for now... when the 3.2 comes out for turbotime, I'll go ahead and paint it).

This is the 5 in her current condition:

As you can see, the hood and roof are terrible... It's down to the basecoat or even deeper in many areas. I have considered maybe trying to just paint the hood and roof, but the clearcoat is gone on the tops of the doors (just below the windows, along that body line mostly) and the tops of the front fenders...

That link is for the rustoleum color chart.

I'm debating between charcoal gray, pewter gray, or smoke gray... possibly gloss black, and possibly gloss white. I'm not a huge fan of white E28s though, and I think black tends to hide the overall shape of the car a little too much, not to mention being a pain in the ass when the car lives outside. I think the charcoal gray is the closest to BMW DS, but without metallic, and I am leaning in that direction. Vote!

EDIT: On snap suckas, I just found a SWEET looking gloss white E28... Euro bumpers, T Stars sans covers, and off road suspension apparently... lol... Makes me like white that much more though!!

Crap, I think I need a second poll... Since I need to do the front and rear window trims, should I do chrome looking stock stuff, or shadowline?

Keep it the same color add a M535 front airdam if you plan on keeping DB's or go Euros and a M tech front airdam. Sweet E38 wheels, I just got some for my car.

Got any examples of the 3 different greys? I personally love e28 M5s, that's my favorite BMW. I'd go with either a darker grey then what it is now, or black.

[edit] Ok, either Charcoal, or Dark Hunter Green with gold rims.

I have the link up there to show the paint colors, but I'm not sure if I have shots of E28 in the different colors...

You've asked this question over at www.mye28.com correct? Oh Nico has a set of T stars for sale on ebay also. Oh I have a set of those side marker lights if you like those.

I kinda got on the topic, but now since I decided that I am definitely doing it, I was just looking for input on the color. The guys over there at mye28 are kinda dicks about this, they always think their way is the only way to do things...

I went for gray. It's been my favorite for almost any car for as long as I can remember and E28s are no exception. White never looked as good on an E28 to me as it does on E30s. I think the car is a touch too big for it.
