9- PIECE BMW E30 M3 Brake Kit ??? Worth it???

hey guys i need brakes BAD for the car and at this moment cant spend the $$$$ to buy a big brake kit, so i am forced to once agian but replacement rotos and pads. i was looking for a decent set up package and found this on ebay though. please give me your .02 or .03 cents on the parts used in this kit.

I've purchased from that seller - nice people. The pads are nice street pads. I have heard that the zimmerman drilled rotors are not worth the $$ and can crack, etc. However, i have no knowledge of that personally.

Myself, I'd get stock rotors. I'm pretty sure that seller has Brembo and Balo rotors as well - email them and tell them what kind of "package" you want and they'll give you a price. I did that on a suspension "kit" he had. It had off brand control arms, and I asked him to price Lemforders - came out to a reasonable price.

Check with TMS. I remember mine came close to 5 even for everything, including, ss lines, super bluefluid and caliper rebuild kits.

see thats why i love this forum! thanks guys. just ordered factory rotors, and pads and sensors all for under 275USD. and trying new pads, will let you guys know what they are as soon as they get it. then hopefully next time around, ill be buying something bigger.

Just my experiences- Zimmerman rotors will get small stress cracks between the drillings if you run them hard. You're better off with OEM stuff unless you just must have the look. My boss is trying those ceramic pads on his 740 right now. They keep the wheels clean and don't make any noise, but they don't perform as well as they try to claim.

I have Zimmermans on right now, they are total crap.
