Has anyone bought the $200 shipped set of bilsteins off ebay?

I see a couple of sets for 189 or 200 shipped for 4 new bilsteins - doesnt say whether or not they are sports or hd's or what - anyone go this route? We determined that the front struts are so bad on my 90 that they are causing bad vibration at 62 mph. Even if thats not the problem, they need to go!

Definitely NOT sports, I was looking at those yesterday. I think they must be tourings, because HDs are nearly as much as sports, and if you look at that same sellers other stuff, they offer sports for around $400 for a set of 4.

$200 shipped for a full set of E30 touring Bilsteins? Not bad for someone looking to restore their stock ride.

Better than buying Tokico or Gabriel.

The Vibration is probably from other worn out parts: Control arm bushings, bad tie rods, shot ball joints, warped brake discs etc. Your best bet is to replace it all. In reality the shocks are probably the least of your worries.

im going to replace the brake rotors at the same time. I know it may or may not be the problem - but either way they need to be replaced.

theres a seller named "techdeals" on there. me and a few friends have bought bilsteins through him because of his quick and FREE shipping. i think there is still a GB on BF for stock size brembos.

I bought those for my e36, so they were a bit more (about $280), but I have yet to put them on. Kinda waiting for my friend to be off work. I don't think I can do the front struts myself without it taking forever. I'll let you know how they ride.
