Don't let MOT hear you saying that, he gets a little testy on the subject. I'm not sure but he may have locked me out of a thread for having similar views? basically it's stupid if you think it's really a Ford ad. It's funnier if you realize it's a made up joke. It be even funnier if the joke had a punchline instead of leading you to Ford, that just confuses you. Most peeps thought it should be a link to Blunt tech industries, I'm guesssing the northern command center or maybe even Blunt Tech world wide. In this case it would make sense and be funny as shit. Blunt tech luring you in with an exploding pint. Just my 20 cents.

I know it's all in good fun and also makes me laugh.. but I was a vendor paying to display my banner on this site I would be a little upset that a joke banner was in the rotation taking away potential advertising hits away from me.

why would you think I have a problem against people thinking the ford ad is funny? Thats the exact reason why I had James put it up... I know it was in the database for ads and asked him to pop it up cause its funny. No one is paying us to have it up nor do we expect monetary gain from it.

It's just a silly ad people, there really is no need for multiple threads on the subject.

I think it's funny. Still think it should link to Blunt Tech. Just thought I pissed you off asking about it because you told me to deal with it. Maybe I was wrong.

I think there are multiple threads because people don't know what to make of it. In a way that makes it a hit, it sparked curiosity due to it's oddness.

original intent was to dig up who put it up. i expected to see a site related to pintos, and instead was dissapointed once directed to ford of all places.
i have no problem with it. its amusing, not great, but note worthy.


how about link to a google search with pinto related material come up?
acutally, why not do this weekly for e30 related topics/highlights?
