How much does an e30 go for at auctions, $100 ? Is that where you guys get your rolling chassis from ??

I don't have that many e30 parts as I pretty much replaced most everything with new and old parts were thrown away (junk) but you can have my stock grills in good condition if you need them as I am waiting for euro grills.

I will think about it dude. this other shell is a late model, free and a little bit closer. but you are my friend, and i will think about it. how long is it gonna take to remove everything? and would the car be literally nothing? or will it have some parts?

The Balls rolling. I mean the Idea has been in the public concious less than Twenty four hours and you've already scored a 90 325 chassis and some grills for free. Dude you gotta thank Rede30 1000 times over. Jean deserves some thanks. What a cool way to get this started. Major score. I think the name of the game is donations. You loved that your beater cost you $50, how about a bitchin E30 for $100. Your pimpin your own ride with help from others. You need to keep a list of who hooked you up with what so you can give them credit WHEN it's done. You owe it to these folks to finish it. So your getting a roller, what's next? Evaluate/ dissassemble your car..make the lists.

I'll post it. It was my idea to do this so therefore it's a project you didn't think of, your just going along with it. If it came from you it be begging for change.

I'd make arrangements for the shell first and figure out what it includes. Once You know it's on the way start pulling your car apart, fix the maintenance stuff='s list. Who knows maybe someone's coming from Ca to Az and they could hook you up with a tow.

The challenge here is to build the best car for as little as possible, The investment will be hard work and people putting a car together. It's not you being cheap, I thought it up and am curious to see if it can get done.

We can add/subtract from the lists as time goes on. Think it through and we'll get it up soon.

In any case, I say go with a free shell with plastic bumpers. You won't be able to fit big fat tires out back as easy, but do it anyways. Then I can keep working on mine and hopefully get it down to 4 corners this summer!

What about a set of tail lights? Do you want a pair that is all red? I don't know what color your car will be but all red tail lights look great on white cars.
