We've got unmarked '07 Mustang GT's that even have standard state plates. The lights are LED's in the hood scoop and in the rear wing.

LOL, maybe I should. There's also a sign in my alley that says "Illegal Dumping in Oceanside is Against the Law". I shit you not.

One of the townships that's semi-local has a Dodge Stratus police car.
Now if I were driving my 750 and I saw this thing coming up behind me...I don't know if it'd be sufficient inducement to pull over.

I'd be tempted to crank it up to 150 just to see if he'd be able to catch up.

And meanwhile, the cop would be yelling..."HEY! YOU CAN'T DO THAT....I...I DRIVE...A DODGE STRATUS!!!"

I was woundering when i was going to see one of those things as a cop car. The police around here have crown vics still. The worst cop car around here was a dodge omni in a little town in west virgina. And it wasn't even a glh.

The Grand Fury headlight pattern was the one that could best identify. I know that some of us had not been driving long enough to remember that cop cruiser but back in the 80's we could spot that set of headlights a mile away.

A few posts back, someone mentioned that their police department uses Volvo station wagons. Now I must say that there is nothing less thretening than a cop in Volvo.. OH GOLLY! A COP IN A VOLVO? What is he going to do, PULL ME OVER? HAHAHAHAH I dont know why this is.. I mean if I get pulled over by a crown vic or a malibu, my heart jumps into my throat. But if I got pulled over by a cop in a Volvo, I would have a hard time taking him seriously.

I figure that ANY car that is trailing me in the dark could be a cop. And if in doubt, I usually ease over and let them pass. I was riding with my girlfriend down the interstate and we were doing about 80 in a 55 zone. She was driving (big mistake) and when we were pulled over she told the cop that she got distracted for a moment and that's why she was going so fast. The cop said, "I figured as much, so I decided to trail you for a good 5 miles to give you the benefit of the doubt but not once did you slow down." and the whole way home I could not help but to wonder WHY she didn't think that there was something unusual about being followed by another car in the left lane. I mean as a general courtesy, if someone is riding behind you and you are in the left lane, you should slide over one lane so that they can pass. Secondly the headlights of the cop car was steadily lighting up the interior of our car so I can't imagine why it never occured to me that we were being trailed.
