I would stay in Vegas but it adds another hour or two total to the trip. As it is right now, I think I'm footing the first half of the trip by myself, and may catch up w/ a buddy when I get near the Mississippi. The temptation of Vegas is that I turn a couple hundred bucks into an E30 M3.

Laughlin is also $26 a night.

Edit: Woowoo. Got a buddy's GPS and a "do it yourself" Haynes manual. Better than nothing. Does anyone have a 3.25 diff I can pick up on the way?

Who needs a hotel in Vegas. Party all night, sleep off booze in car. Wake up and drive.

How about a radar detector ??
Might not need it with a ETA ;)

Mosdef no radar detector needed in an ETA.

When I had my M3 and was living in LA, I would drive out to Vegas in the morning, hope to make it big, and if I didn't (most often the case) I would drive back early AM the next day. That oxygen they pump into the casinos can keep you going.
