            That is for font and rear. the pistons are spread apart to spread the load over the pad more evenly as opposed to the single piston design.

            I could care less about cosmetics, I am going to need some serious brakes withing the next couple of months. So starting research.

              front and rear rotors are the same size? :roll: first time I see this...
              anyway, I think 11.5" is too small for the Big Brake kit. My kit is 12"x.9" and I feel that you can go bigger as long as you change the BMC and go to larger rims.
              You don't really need Big rear brakes, most of the braking is done in the front where the physics trasfer all the weight under the heavy braking.
              I think that this is a nice kit, check it out:

                I like it. The kit is well thought out, SUPER cheap for a f/r kit.

                If you read, it has different size pistons. This helps with bite and even pad contact. The rotors have alm hats, and look to be pretty wide.

                To bad you can't see the mounting brackets and pads.

                11.5in rotor is fine for just about any E30. That is bigger then stock.

                You guys need to go and look at some BBK's! Go and pick up a brembo 14in rotor, that thing is HEAVY! I bet it adds 50lbs to the car, yup, they will slow you down. I want to keep the unsprung weight down. That limits me to around 12in rotors.

                Not to sure on the over all quality, but it looks like a solid kit for the price.

                  I looked at those but I don't want to go crazy in Un-sprung weight. Bigger wheels here. I live in Massachusetts and don't know where next so the roads suck. I realy don't want to have to do 17"wheels to fit over just brakes as it will defeat purpose.

                  Equal brakes i'd do a proporinate valve to prevent lock up. Also means I can swap the rears to fronts and buy two every year as replacements.

                      The RPI brakes fit under 16's with no problems. They rock too :D

                          True, although the RPI system is $995, so it's not too bad. I don't really feel the need for a rear kit, the front locks up easily enough, and I bet the rear would be even more exaggerated with bigger brakes. Just a thought,
