wheels in used conditon with center caps nowadays? Is it worth selling here and and getting the a typical low ball or just putting them on ebay?

I was kidding obviously, but to ask your buyer is silly. It's the equivilant of "how much you got?"
Posting here, to sell here or in the community is asking your buyer. What are we supposed to say? If people give you a big number they're probably not in the market and are just throwing prices around.

What are they worth to you? What are you willing to part with them for? General rule of thumb, take that number and add 10-20% for your trouble, and for eventual haggling, and see if anyone bites.

If you really want the market to dictate the price, then yes put em on ebay with a $1 starting bid, and see where they go to. Good luck

Last set I saw on ebay was back in november and went for ~$900 I would be interested depending on condition of the wheels.

I Know they are worth in rough shape 500 straight mine are in some need of refinishing work but my point was if they were pristine I figured some one would chime in on the latest amounts people had payed for a set.

I would say at least 900 after refinishing (probably more like 1100-1200). unfinished i would say at least 600-700.
